Girl Child Concerns is pleased to announce a call for vendor registration to support our ongoing initiatives in Borno State. We are looking for dedicated and qualified vendors who can provide goods and services to help us achieve our mission of empowering and improving the lives of girls in the region. GCC has collaborated with Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, UNICEF, BESDA, AGILE to carry out its activities. We are currently working with the UNICEF and Borno AGILE in Borno state, Nigeria.
We are committed to empowering girls and advocating for their rights. Our organization works to provide education, healthcare and life skills training to vulnerable girls in Nigeria. Through our holistic approach, we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for girls and youth to thrive and fulfill their potential.
To update our supplier’s database, we are looking for suppliers and contractors providing the following goods and services in Borno.
Scope of Work
The selected vendors will be responsible for providing goods and/or services falling under the following lots:
Lot 1: Catering Services
Nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during workshops and events.
Lot 2: Printing Services
Printing of educational materials (brochures, pamphlets, training manuals, booklets, etc.).
Printing of promotional materials (posters, stickers, roll up banners, banners, etc.).
Lot 3: Transportation Services
Transportation of to and from project sites and events.
Lot 4: Livelihood Materials and Equipment
Sewing machines and related equipment for vocational training.
Art and craft materials for creative workshops.
Lot 5: Safe Space Materials
Educational and recreational materials (Mats, books, toys, games, etc.).
Lot 6: Stationeries
Notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and other writing materials for girls’ education support.
Lot 7: Radio and TV Services
Radio airtime for broadcasting awareness campaigns and educational programs.
Lot 8: Hall Services
Rental of event halls and venues for workshops and conferences.
Vendor Eligibility Criteria
- The vendor must be a legally registered business/entity in Nigeria.
- The vendor should have experience in providing goods/services in the specific lot(s) they wish to apply for.
- Company profile, including a brief overview of previous projects and clientele.
- The vendor must demonstrate a commitment to quality and adhere to all relevant safety standards.
- The vendor should have a proven track record of delivering goods/services on time.
- The vendor must comply with all local laws and regulations.
- The current company business address must be in Borno state.
- Contact information (address, email, phone) of the authorized representative.
Registration Process
If you are interested and want to participate, please register your company with us; registration and submission of company profile should be done at Girl Child Concerns No. 1 Shehu Bukar Road, near G.R.A Police Station, Old G.R.A, Maiduguri, Borno State from 10th January 2023 to 30th January 2023.

Please clearly indicate the specific lot(s) you are applying for in your submission. Vendors may apply for one or more lots, depending on their areas of expertise.
NOTE: Your Company Profiles must be put in a sealed envelope marked with the LOT NUMBER of the category you are interested in. All documents received after the submission deadline will be considered invalid.
Evaluation and Selection
The evaluation of registered vendors will be conducted by GCC based on the eligibility criteria and the suitability of the goods/services offered for each lot. The decision of the selection committee will be final and non-negotiable.
