Girl Child Concerns (GCC) has taken a proactive step towards supporting the growth of small-scale businesses in the Gwoza Local Government Area. To achieve this, GCC has formed cluster groups consisting of 15 to 20 eligible individuals in accessible settlements within the Pulka, Gwoza, and Limankara communities.

To be eligible for membership in these groups, individuals must meet certain criteria. First, each group should consist of 15 to 20 members who are residents of the respective communities and are currently running a business. Second, members must be aged 25 or older and have a guarantor within their community. Third, there must be a collective agreement within the group regarding membership. Additionally, each group member must possess a valid identification card, such as an International Passport, National ID Card, voter card, or Driving License. The loan repayment schedule is structured to occur every six months, with each group collectively responsible for repayment based on their efforts. GCC is currently in the process of disbursing the loans to the selected individuals, thereby fostering economic empowerment within these communities.
